Local Government Candidates Forum

Save the date for BCFGA’s “Get Ag on the Agenda” advocacy campaign. With the fast-approaching local elections, the BCFGA has launched an advocacy campaign to “Get Ag on the Agenda.” They will be hosting 3 agriculture-focused candidate forums. Please save the dates:

• Kelowna: September 25, 6-8 PM, East Kelowna Hall
• Vernon: September 28, 6-8 PM, Lakers Club House

In addition to the forums, candidates in all tree-fruit growing regions will be surveyed about their plans to include agriculture in their platforms. All responses will be logged and displayed on the BCFGA website (…final locations and landing page coming soon!)
