Summerland Farming Open House

As agriculture is critical to our communityy’s identity and economy, the District of Summerland would like to provide an opportunitie to hear directly from local farmers. This is nto a formal meeting of Council and there will be no agenda. The Mayor will share a few remarks and staff will speak briefly about the current drought situation. Open discussion to follow on anything related to agriculture. Most Council members hope to attend as well as senior municipal staff. We will try to answer questions and respond to ideas but mainly we want to listen.
