Living Lab Grower Talk: Cover Crops & Soil Health in Okanagan Orchards

Join the BCFGA and the Summerland Research Team for a practical session on cover crops and soil health in Okanagan orchards. This show-and-tell demonstration will share insights from Living Lab cover crop trials, focusing on key soil health indicators including soil aggregate stability and soil pH, and their implications for orchard performance and soil management.

Researchers will also showcase tools developed for growers, including the Cover Crop Identification Field Guide, a Growing Degree Day Calculator for fall-planted cover crops, and farm-ready soil pH testing kits.
