BCCA & BCFGA – Cherry Town Hall
Join the BC Fruit Growers Association and the BC Cherry Association for a joint Tree Fruit Industry Town Hall in Kelowna focused on the 2025 cherry harvest season.
Many growers have expressed frustration with how the season unfolded and have asked for an opportunity to come together, compare experiences, and talk openly about what happened and what can be done differently. This meeting is intended to create space for growers to share their perspectives and hear from one another. The intent is not to assign blame, but to better understand the range of outcomes from the past season and to identify lessons and areas where the industry may need to adapt moving forward. All viewpoints are welcome, and respectful dialogue will be expected.
We appreciate the support of our contacts in the media in their understanding that the priority of this meeting is honest dialogue among growers. In order to encourage this atmosphere, we are asking that media please do not attend this meeting.
