Deadline For My CFIA Set Up

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is moving the application process for Cherry Export Programs online. This means that submitting export program applications as a grower or packing facility will now be much easier.

But all participants MUST sign up for their “My CFIA” account before November 1st. Existing program participants will have received an email from the CFIA with information and instructions.

Setting up your My CFIA account may not be intuitive for everyone. With this in mind, the BCCA staff met with CFIA representatives who go through the process. We recorded that meeting for members to view.
