INTERPRETING YOUR SOIL TEST REPORT (Version 2)
Overview
A virtual workshop delivered by staff from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food on understanding your soil for better crop decisions.
Do you have a soil test report but aren’t sure what it means? Join Ministry of Agriculture and Food for a virtual hands-on session where we’ll decode soil test results and learn how to use them for better crop, fertilizer and land management decisions. This is a repeat of the session that was offered Dec. 16, 2025.
What to expect during the Workshop? This Workshop will help farmers to:
- Read key parameters like pH, organic matter, NPK and micronutrients
- Interpret numbers and identify soil test limitations and nutrient balances
- Know how to use the soil test report to evaluate management practices
