Stronger Together – BCFGA Rally For Farmers

Join the BCFGA on Tuesday afternoon, 2:30pm at Gyro Park in Osoyoos, for a pro-agriculture rally. Bring your whole family to this family-friendly event. We’ll have water and frozen treats available. Bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets, if you like!
This is not a protest, but rather a gathering of those who grow tree fruits and grapes in our valley and those who support them. We have invited public officials and community members to come and show their support, and mingle and listen to the growers, to understand what sort of supports are needed during these trying times.
Our message is simple: Stronger Together. The extreme weather events and the plight of farmers goes beyond politics – we need support from consumers and non-partisan solutions and collaboration from all decision-makers. Everyone is invited to show their support, because together, we are stronger!
If you would like to volunteer your time to help out at the event, the BCFGA staff would greatly appreciate the extra hands!
